My Prediction – Labor Will Lose

   Posted by: Patrick   in General

Here it is -My prediction for the election. Rudd and Labor will lose, Australians cannot be fooled by such a smarmy, smirky, pretentious person, much less the platoon of ‘true believers’ and fools that he has backing him. I am no fan of the current government but the alternative is just too egregious to contemplate.

My ex isn’t into politics so she is quite ignorant of politics but even she reckons that labor will lose. Its bad enough having those wankers in power in NSW (and what a FUCK UP they have caused) can you imagine them tossers in Federal Government?
Why are lefties SO stupid?
Why is Rudd so preoccupied with internet speed?
Polls are irrelevant and bias so NEVER believe them.
What is it with labor supporters not knowing what labor really represent?

The one key area Labor have been able to foster this time around that they were unable to do in the past is to create a believable amount of financial hysteria in the public.
Labor have run the line that people have never had it so bad. They have been able to create a psychosis in the public psyche that has led to mass hysteria over impending financial doom. Home ownership has never been so out of reach, wages have never been so low and workers are spending longer hours at work when the opposite is true.
In fact the mid-year figures released by the ABS showed that people on AWA’s were up to 12% better off than those on an award. The ABS and ACOS also released figures showing that Australian’s have never worked fewer hours than they do today.

When I bought my first home it was, at the time, the average 1st home owners home. It was a 13 square 3 bedroom brick and tile home without a garage and no landscaping. In contrast, todays first home buyers will settle for nothing less than a 25 square 4 bedroom brick-rendered home with study or rumpus room. A Double lock-up garage, $20,000 designer kitchen with marble or granite benchtops, ducted air conditioning, pool/spa with Bali Hut and fully landscaped on a well to do location. Topped off with either a brand new v8 Holden Maloo ute or a new 4 wheel drive just to pull either their new boat or jet-ski. As I’ve always said, you can’t legislate against stupidity. These idots hould have been wise and bought within their means. Now if Labor get in and the inevitable happens, interest rates will rise, employment will drop, inflation will rise and once again we will have witnessed a generation of Australians destroyed financially. Sounds like Hawke and Keating have moved to centre stage.

Did anybody notice the poor lady in the Labor Party add who cannot afford to pay her house repayments etc. she was standing in her kitchen with all stainless steel appliances including a two door stainless steel fridge. Please God let me be so poor that I can only afford a kitchen full of stainless steel appliances
Did anybody notice the absence of the Australian Flag during Rudd’s Policy Speech? Maybe a sign of a future Republic of Australia and a new Flag?

I was looking through a magazine that was delivered yesterday and came across this pearl of wisdom from William Shakespeare and immediately thought how appropriate the advice is to people thinking of voting Labor next Saturday.

“Trust not to rotten planks, indeed, before stepping onto the wooden planks of a boat, you would want to be sure that the wood was not rotten”.

Surely that applies to the Labor Party and all their corrupt members/now ex-members, including those charged with child abuse.

I wish you guys were right but next Sat. Rudd will be running the show, Johhny said Peter was going to take over, big, big, mistake, people like mickey mouse, their families, dogs, but they don’t like Pete,
like Simon Cream, nice people but running the country. Big stuff up Liberals, it is not the people who I believe are sheep follow Libs or Labour both have about the same numbers, it is the 15% who deceide who is best to run the county, goodby John sorry to see you go, but thats life.

Would you believe after all the crap the press have thrown at Howard the Adelaide Sunday Mail, the Perth Sunday Times, Melbourne Sunday Herald have all come out in favor of voting for Howard and the Melbourne Sunday Age (hold onto your seats) have chosen not to recommend either party. See Andrew Bolt’s column today.

I participated in an online poll today and the result was Liberal 57%, Nationals 3%, Labor 32%, Greens 4% and the minor parties 1%. what is happening out there?

Incidently our friend was phone polled yesterday and the caller asked for a person under 35 years of age and was not interested in any other age group, so he played the game and said that he was under 35 and was asked all the usual questions.

Well if these poor people who have overcommitted themselves and think that Labor will fix their febts for them they deserve the Govt they get if they vote for Labor.Frankly I do not see a lot in the whole thing except money being hrown at the publis to win votes. For self funded retirees who have worked hard and lived within their means Liberals will give us little however Labor will stuff up the economy. We will profit when the interest rates rise.Anf there will be alot of cheap properties on the market.

Ginger I also noticed that add. I wish I could have the appliances that lady has in her kitchen. If Labor win there could be alot of cheap applainces being sold off. Plazma TV Stainless Steel appliances, Latest model cars. So you see It does not really worry me who wins just get the bloody farce over with.

The Politicians should keep their bribes in the bank and build us hospitals more doctors and nurses and Aged Care facilities.

A bribe is a bribe whether it’s health care, education or whatever. I and every other taxpayer pays for it, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Lori, I thought the GST going fully to the States was going to fix our schools, hospitals, transport, police, education etc, instead all we get is more public servants (jobs for the boys, all the Labor Members who lost their seats got jobs) and a massive debt as is usual when we have Labor Governments. With all the GST the States have received they have still managed to run up a debt of over 80 BILLION.

We lost the election, back to the drawing board???

Our Member Greg Hunt looks safe, he is over 12,000 in front before preferences. The Labor Party got about 98% of Greens preferences.

As we sat watching former PM & ex-member for Bennelong give his long overdue meaculpa, the local radio station played ” Won’t get fooled again” by the Who, just as the champagne popped!

How sweet it was!

One thing is for sure even with a Labor victory you are still a loser. You probably can’t help that, not to worry dole bludgers don’t starve in this country. But seriously, after reading your comments under the many different names you like to use you are either a) not old enough to vote. or b) a perfect example as to why Australians should not be forced to go to the polls.

Kati, Kati kati,……..

The bitter taste of utter defeat will eventually fade…
However your blind stupidity will not.
The same idiots that put John Howard IN power, took it away from him!
Funny thing Democracy!
There is no accounting for idiots of any colour.

Dooker,

You’re so dumb. No bitter taste here. Everybody (except you) knows Australian politics doesn’t mean much to me. I’m not Australian, I do not vote in Australia, nor do I tell any Australian how to vote. When I was asked to hand out ‘how to vote cards’ I declined. I don’t like foreigners sticking their nose in our elections and I don’t stick my nose in their elections. If you notice I never made a comment about the election until after it was over. The only reason I’m commenting now is, ‘I hate an asshole’ and you’re a big one.

The same idiots that put John Howard IN power, took it away from him!

Actually you seem to be the only one who doesn’t understand the full meaning of that!

Funny thing Democracy!
There is no accounting for idiots of any colour.

Yes, isn’t Labor lucky! You call the people here stupid and yet you just admitted Labor won with the idiot vote. At least Liberals have enough brains and class not to refer to the swing voters as idiots, but then union morons never were accused of having either.

Dooker or whatever you call yourself, you appear to be an example of the classic foul mouthed, pidgeon brained fool that makes up the political left in OZ. I was wrong, I thought that the Libs would win, even taking their faults into account. I did not call the voters idiots I do not know why they voted as they did but the decision has been made. Unfortunately the Labor win gives dills like you succour, please control your passions. As John Ray points out the defining difference between left and right is that the right looks for evidence where the left just ‘feels’ that something is right or wrong. From now on look for the reasons why things happen instead of relying on your feelings.
