Big Black Cloud….

   Posted by: Patrick   in Patrick

By now we have all seen this frame up video….

Ed Schultz tries to get a “gotcha” moment on Rick Perry and comes off looking like the sanctimonious finger wagging tosser he is.

Now, it seems to me that most people are missing the point here. The point is not that certain sections of the media are trying to crucify potential Presidential candidate Rick Perry, thats what media maggots do, there is no surprise there. The surprise is in the faux outrage of even implying that the Obamessiah is black. Heaven forbid him or his administration is referred to as a “big black cloud”.

Lets set the record straight. Obama is black. He was born black, he chooses to identify himself as a black man….it’s not a global secret, but we should never mention it unless someone takes offense.

Some might say, myself included, that indeed Obama and his entire administration are in fact a “big black cloud” that hangs over America, nay the world!

Even though obviously this is not what Rick Perry meant, so the hell what if he did anyway?

Have we become so pathetic as a race that even implying such a thing is considered “racism”?

Quote of the month!

   Posted by: Patrick   in Patrick

Yeah so I don’t write much here anymore, my bad. I still do surf around and read what other people write though. Now this is a beautiful quote from the always thought provoking Lexcen at My Gripes Of Wrath

It is important to distinguish between crimes committed by insane individuals and crimes committed by an insane cult/religion. We cannot protect ourselves against individuals who go berserk because we cannot predict how any individual will behave but when we live in denial about the beliefs and aspirations of Islam, we only have ourselves to blame.

If I could write as concisely as that, there may be a few more of my posts here!

Past Predictions…

   Posted by: Patrick   in Patrick

Thanks to Patrick C, I was reminded of a post I did way back in late 2008.

Inspired by the mystical mumbo jumbo and “out there” predictions of thieves and charlatans who take money from half wits for telling them their future, it was a light hearted look into what I thought 2009 might hold. Read the rest of this entry »

Peter Falk R.I.P

   Posted by: Patrick   in Patrick

He is my all time favorite TV detective. I grew up watching and loving his show Colombo, and as an adult I bought every dvd release of the show.

A great and entertaining actor. The best Eulogy I can find comes from Michael McKean (Spinal Tap)

Falk’s assault on conventional stardom went like this: You’re not conventionally handsome, you’re missing an eye and you have a speech impediment. Should you become a movie star? Peter’s correct answer: Absolutely.”

Thanks for the many hours of enjoyment.

Mr NK

   Posted by: Patrick   in Patrick

Now if we had the death penalty here, this wouldn’t be an issue now would it?

The Australian government is being accused of breaching the human rights of a convicted double murderer by keeping him in detention long after he was granted parole.

The man known as Mr NK fled China in the wake of the Tiananmen Square uprising more than 20 years ago.

While in Australia on a student visa, Mr NK was convicted of a double murder and was sentenced to 20 years’ jail.

On top of the fact we still pay for him, he only got 20 years for murdering two people!

But upon his release, Immigration Department officials locked him up at the Villawood detention centre.

Chris Yuen, principal solicitor at the Immigration Advice and Rights Centre, says his client was meant to be deported based on his criminal convictions, but immigration officials knew that deporting him would most likely breach Australian convention.

That is because returning him to China would trigger a fresh trial there and the possibility he would face the death penalty.

So, not only does he get a mere 20 years instead of the death he deserved, he gets protected (presumably for life), from the death he deserves. Furthermore, some namby pamby half wit wants us to pay him half a million bucks!

Human Rights Commissioner Catherine Branson QC says prisoners who have done their time have rights too.

Mr NK’s rights, she has found, have been breached and the Federal Government ought to pay $500,000 in compensation.

Maybe there are fairies outside under mushrooms after all.
